BTILLC Program Evaluators Present Findings at International Engineering Conference
Drs. James and Susan Barnes of Barnes Technologies International, LLC (BTILLC) and Dr. Michael Dyrenfurth and Dr Kathryne Newton of Purdue University recently presented a paper entitled Mixed Methods Model Approach for Measuring International Engineering, Design and Technology Student Exchange Programs at the American Society for Engineering Education in San Antonio, Texas. This mixed methods model integrates Stufflebeam’s Concept, Input, Process, Product Model, Kirkpatrick’s Four Levels Model and Wilder’s Collaboration Factors Inventory. This model has wide application, not only for assessing international student exchange programs, but all facets of engineering and technology education programs as an integrated component of continuous program improvement. BTILLC has used this mixed methods model for conducting numerous program evaluations.
